Basel is a world-leading Swiss University that is highly regarded for its Life Sciences research and for innovative and novel pharmaceutical technology. The University, founded in 1460 is the oldest in continental Europe. One focus of the PharmaCenter is the discovery of chrono-pharmacological requirements in drug delivery, and the design of innovative transdermal drug administration techniques. Uni. Basel has successfully spun-off several pharmaceutical companies and is successful collaborating with leading pharmaceutical companies.
University of Applied Science Northwestern Switzerland, Institute for Pharma Technologies: The University of Applied Science Northwestern Switzerland has core competencies in life sciences, biology, chemistry and pharmacokinetics. Their P/K scientists are highly experienced in real-life drug formulation and transdermal drug delivery development.
In addition, they have a specialized competency in micro solutions and micro machining as well as the production of miniaturized solutions.
